Editing the Music Video (7) (Wrapping up)

Today is the day I can proudly declare the completion of my MUSIC PROMOTIONAL VIDEO.

But before that, of course, I'll have to explain the additions I made. For example, the cinematic widescreen bars using the crop effect on an adjustment layer laid over the entire sequence.

I used the same font I had used while making the digipak (that I downloaded from 'dafont' website (https://www.dafont.com/new.php?page=2) for the name of the song and artist.

I also made copies of the title 'TAKE ON ME' and played around with the color balance effect and position option to create a glitch animation.

I used the classic 'game over' font used in videogames to write 'GAME OVER' at the end of the music video.

Furthermore, I experimented with the colors of the final title to see which looked best.

Lastly, I added an animated glitch effect to an adjustment layer above the 'game over' title to complete the whole digital vibe.

And with this, the editing series of my music video comes to an end!

SCREENING

Once the music video was finally made, I was dying to see the audience reaction. Not just online but in real life too! The feedback I got was very positive and gratifying. The best part was showing the music video to the actors, who were amazed by the edited version of the clips they remembered shooting.

Shooting (Day 3)

Today we had to shoot the police car and dinky scenes. No matter how much you plan a shoot, some problems may inevitably rise. Today I had to deal with two unfortunate situations and make quick decisions. I had cut the letters in the word 'POLICE' out from black chart papers and pasted them on the 'police car'. However, while moving the car from one location to another, the letter 'O' fell off the car. A friend went in his car back the same route to find the cut-out but he couldn't. Subsequently, I decided to remove all the letters from the car and carry on with the shot to prevent wasting further time and decided to add an animated title during editing.  Another problem that I faced was due to the fact that I was swept away in taking care of other stuff and I forgot to double check the costume of my actor, Sheece.  We carried out the scene in which a police officer arrests him. Afterwards, I realized that he had worn a hat which he wasn...
