Promotional Video for 'Welcome Party'

While editing this video, I tried to add new effects that would make the video more interesting to watch. I added a glitch effect (by playing around with the RGB controls in the effects panel) and a smooth zoom transition in the middle of several clips that I learned from a youtube video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T6PvwWqVjc&t=234s ). Due to less time available for editing, I simply added different lumetri color grading presets rather than manually color grading the clips.

Media Assessement

In this video, we went full swing on editing and mise-en-scene.  Action-Match and short takes prevented the video from being boring due to the limited camera angles and movements. Animation, adding layers of lower opacity, black and white tint effect, reverse and repeat effect made the music video look more interesting. Write-on and flash effects were used to introduce the title in an innovative way.  We used two studio lights, positioned at 45 degrees from the centre, with translucent white and red filters. A third light was used to form a rim of light behind the actress.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rfe_siD6IE

Dignity Day Video

Today we celebrated dignity day in our school and being the head of filmmaking society I made a video about it. The video started off with a fun fast-paced soundtrack to create suspense and interest. I added text with a simple question, in the start, to encourage engagement with the audience; which is ironic since this video can be considered a part of hot media (which demands little interaction from the viewer/user).  Two interviews were added to give the video a documentary feel.  A smooth audio transition from the diegetic and non-diegetic sounds of the interviewee and background score respectively to an 'Urdu poetry' was made. The poetry was accompanied by slow-motion shots of students and lower staff members to give a dramatic effect.   https://youtu.be/kzJ9UjASq3c

Editing the Music Video (5)

I've finally edited the performance scenes. In After Effects CS6, using the 'Keylight 1.2' effect, I removed the green screen from the desired performance clips I wanted to use.  In some clips, a silhouette effect was created using the 'curves' effect. If the bottom left point of the line in the graph is moved up, the black background remains black but the person in the shot is turned into matte white. If the background is white, the top right point of the line is moved down to turn the person in the frame into matte black. These clips were then imported into Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018. I removed the background of some clips that required it using masking.  By cutting the clip at many points or masking funky shapes in the clip, I tried to add deviation in the effects and animations I was creating. In one place, I tried a unique approach. Firstly, I masked out the unwanted background from the clip.  ...
